January Favorites

|| Beauty ||
  • Clarisonic - I got this for Christmas and it's been great! My face started having a reaction to something so this really helped clear it up and remove excess makeup off.
  • Cashmere Glow Lotion - Lately this has been my signature scent, so I stocked up over break.

|| Songs ||
My sister got me hooked on Adele's new 25 album over Christmas break. My favorite songs from the album are Send My Love & I Miss You. A few of my other favorite tunes this past month were:

  • What Are Words - Chris Medina
  • Life is Beautiful - The Afters
  • Hello My Name is - Matthew West

|| Netflix ||
Psych - I am really surprised that I actually enjoy this show, but I do! I  love watching police/detective murder shows so this is definitely in that ball park. It was so fun being able to watch a few seasons with my siblings over break.

  • White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cliff Bars - On the days that I have back to back classes these are a life saver, plus it helps that they are delicious!
  • Oiko Greek yogurt - These quick little cups are great for those busy mornings or for that afternoon run.

|| Memory ||
2 weeks ago I traveled with my school to Washington D.C. to participate in the March For Life. We unfortunately didn't get the opportunity to march because of hazardous weather conditions, but I was still able to do a little site seeing in the short time we were there. D.C. has always intrigued me and I hope to be back in the district very soon.

The Present Moment Prayer from the diary of St. Faustina

O My God,
When I look into the future, I am frightened,
But why plunge into the future?
Only the present moment is precious to me,
As the future may never enter my soul at all.
It is no longer in my power to change, correct or add to the past;
For neither sages nor prophets could do that.
And so what the past has embraced I must entrust to God.
O present moment, you belong to me, whole and entire.
I desire to use you as best I can.
And although I am weak and small,
You grant me the grace of Your omnipotence.
And so, trusting in Your mercy,
I walk through life like a little child,
Offering You each day this heart
Burning with love for Your greater Glory.
