This is an obvious suggestion, but worth mentioning again because it's vital to your success. 
Today there are layouts and styles for every personality, so really you have no excuse. Yes, there might be a planner that is "trending" but if it doesn't work for you then find one that does. Your planner should be a place where you keep to-do lists, daily goals, important dates, etc.

Business Cards
Business cards are a must for bloggers, entrepreneurs, college students, networking events, business dinners and your day to day errands. You never know who you are going to meet and the connections you can get, so you always want to be prepared and have some biz cards on hand. When you do exchange business cards, send them a text, email, or LinkedIn message within 24 hours. This message is to say hi and follow-up on what you talked about. They now will remember you, because you took the time to follow-up and now you have another opportunity to connect with them. 

10 Minute Makeup Routine
Everyone always has those days where the snooze button definitely happened or an unexpected meeting came up which requires you to look put together. In those emergency moments, it saves you to have a tried and true, easy peasy makeup routine that covers everything it needs to cover but still looks like it took two hours instead of ten minutes.

Holy Grail Nude Nail Polish
One of my favorite ways to look and feel put together with relatively no effort is a neutral/nude nail. There's something so classy about this color. But honestly why I like this tip is because this is an easy color to paint on when in a hurry because since it's a neutral color you don't have to worry about it getting on your skin too much. I think a padfolio is an essential for business meetings, office space, and classes because it looks more professional than a notebook or folder. You can write notes in it, but you can also keep your resume, portfolio, business cards and any other important docs. Just a little tip, Target has some super cute options ;)

Flash Drive
If you don't have a flash drive, you will after this. Whether school or work, there seems to always be a need to transfer files, share files with others, or upload to get printed. Start carrying a flash drive with you today and your future emergency situation will thank you.

Notebook
An all-purpose notebook is an ESSENTIAL for any ladyboss lifestyle. It's so therapeutic (and time-saving) to be able to brain dump, write contact info, and list making in one place!!!
