{leftover} Thanksgiving Hand Pies //Recipe

All your favorite flavors wrapped up in a flaky pie crust package, then drizzled with gravy, so good, and way better than a sandwich!
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
  • leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner – cranberry sauce, turkey, stuffing, gravy-and anything else you want to toss in
  • 1 beaten egg
Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
Cut out circles from pie crust using a bowl or something similar. You could make smaller little bite size ones by using a glass.
Layer on all the ingredients you wish to one pie crust.  I started with a little cranberry sauce, then stuffing and turkey. I saved the gravy to pour on the outside or dip in.
Top with a second pie crust, then seal the edges by pressing around the edges with a fork.
Brush the top of the crust with the egg wash.
Bake until golden brown.
If you decide to freeze, wait until they are cooled and place in a freezer bag.

I hope you enjoy and happy Friday! xoxo

Winter Jam 2014

Happy Monday!
Last night I was blest to go with some friends to the Winter Jam West Coast. What a powerful experience seeing and hearing all different forms of Christian music. When the Jam comes to an area near you I would highly recommend that you go and bring a friend along. Instead of doing the regular Musical Monday I thought I would share the songs that were sung last night along with a few pictures. Enjoy and remember it is our duty as Christians to not only get ourselves to Heaven but to also bring others with us.
