Case of Seniorities

Hello ladies!
Well I have officially been diagnosed with a condition of Seniorities...

(Senioritis):
noun. A crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. Symptoms include: laziness, an over-excessive wearing of track pants, old athletic shirts, sweatpants, athletic shorts, and sweatshirts. Also features a lack of studying, repeated absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. The only known cure is a phenomenon known as Graduation.
So yep there we have it. Not really happy 'bout that conclusion but accepting it. But I am trying to stay productive and motivated. Here are some tips:
1/ Even if you aren't going anywhere, put you makeup on and put on a decent outfit that doesn't include yoga pants.
2/ Write down when you are suppose to finish your classes. Sometimes having the end in site will help you in the process.
3/ Realize that you really only have 3-4 months left of HS and that this isn't going to break you.
4/ And lastly try to cherish every moment you can. You soon will be thrown into this scary thing called "adulthood."
So to help my fellow Seniors out there I am imploring the help of one of my main men St. Thomas Aquinas as he is the patron of students and studies.

A Student's Prayer (by St. Thomas Aquinas)

Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom!

Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me,

that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory,

method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend,

and abundant grace in expressing myself.

Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion.

This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man,

living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever.
Amen.

Me trying to do a jumping photo :) Please excuse the cray cray eyes.

  1. The truth of this post... I believe I can be diagnosed with Senioritis now, too. xP

But dressing nicely makes SUCH difference!! :D I've been trying to at least put on a little mascara in the morning just because when I look in a mirror, it seems like my eyes are brighter or I just look better, and that perks up my attitude and helps me focus! :)

Downside of homeschooling...I am not actually sure when my classes finish... xD But I'm getting close! :D

    1. Well it's nice to know that I'm not alone! Mascara + concealer is a seniority-stricken girl's best friend. Well I have to finish by June 6th, since that's my grad date. :)
